Are you interested in learning a new knitting technique that creates a unique and beautiful texture? Look no further than a beginning brioche class! In this class, you’ll learn the basics of brioche knitting, including the stitches and techniques needed to create a stunning brioche scarf. The class will start with an introduction to the brioche stitch and the tools and materials needed for the project. You’ll then  learn how to cast on and begin knitting the brioche stitch, creating a reversible fabric with a beautiful, squishy texture.

Throughout the class, you’ll receive hands-on instruction from Cynthia Spencer, an experienced teacher who will guide you through the process of knitting brioche. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions and receive feedback on your work. By the end of the class, you’ll have a beautiful brioche scarf started. You’ll also have the skills and confidence to continue exploring the world of brioche knitting on your own.

Supplies to Bring

Size 7 needle of any type or length
About 200-400 yards of worsted-weight or Aran weight yarn yarn (yarn that knits at 4.5 to 5 stitches per inch).
(Brioche tends to be loose, so if you’re a loose knitter, you might want to go down a needle size. )
